Grommets & wiring-harness seals - reproduction & small batches

Perished grommets let water into places that rust and wiring chafe against bare metal - small parts, expensive consequences. Original rubber has one lifespan and every classic is past it. We reproduce grommets and harness seals from your samples in flexible materials matched to the job: durometer chosen for sealing, profile held so the grommet actually grips the panel instead of falling through.

How we make them

Profile measured from your sample, flexible engineering materials selected by hardness and environment, produced in the small batches these parts are always needed in. Sealing lips and panel-grip features are reproduced faithfully.

Typical work: bulkhead harness grommets for classic BMWs and VWs, body seals for air-cooled platforms, cable-pass grommets throughout.

Frequently asked questions

How do you match the softness of the original rubber?

We select material hardness (durometer) to suit the sealing job rather than copying degraded rubber, and confirm the choice with you at quote stage.

Which process will you use?

Whichever suits the part: MJF nylon for tough functional plastics, high-detail resin for fine features, CNC for metal or high-load parts, vacuum casting for small series.

One part or a batch - how does pricing work?

The engineering is a one-time cost; per-unit price drops with quantity. We quote both so you can decide.

Your project stays yours.

Every part we reverse-engineer and produce is confidential and exclusive to the client. We do not resell, share or reproduce a client's parts for anyone else unless the client explicitly authorises it. NDAs available on request.
