191 853 696 (later 191 853 696 B) is the cover for the front tow hook opening in the bumper of the VW Golf Mk2 and Jetta Mk2, 1983-1992. It is small and easily lost, and since VW dropped it the part is mostly found as used or old stock. We make a new cover in tough black engineering nylon.

How does pricing work for a single part versus a series?
Engineering is quoted once; production is quoted per unit and falls with quantity. For parts that need tooling or long machine set-ups there is a minimum quantity for the job to be viable, and we state it clearly in the quote rather than after you have ordered.
Can you improve the original design?
Yes - thicker walls, ribs, fillets and better material choices are standard where the original was weak.
What if my part number is superseded?
Send the number you have; we trace the family and confirm the correct geometry from your photos.
Can you work from a broken or incomplete part?
Yes - fractures, missing tabs and warped areas are normal. We reconstruct geometry from the remaining features, the mating part and symmetry.
There's no CAD or drawing for this part. Is that a problem?
No. Most of what we make has no surviving documentation; we rebuild the model from your sample and photos.
How accurate is the reproduction?
We hold the tolerances that matter for fit and function - mating faces, clip engagement, hole positions - and verify dimensions before shipping.
